Techmeme wakes up to WalMart fiasco
Ever since I wrote about Edelman's mis-management of Wal-Mart's blogging "scandal", I've been waiting for my favourite meme-tracer, TechMeme, to pick it up. Seems like it has finally caught hold of the story thanks to Mathew Ingram's post. Better late than never, Gabe.
Shel Holtz, Robert Scoble, Neville Hobson and many others are/have been writing about it as well.
Still no word from Edelman or uber-blogger and Edelman VP Steve Rubel. Not good. Even if it is to say "we had nothing to do with it," which seems increasingly unlikely, this is a complete failure to walk the talk.

Well, I was joking when I said his post specifically that caused it to appear. What triggers something to appear is complicated. Every post helps, in fact.

Nice to have you here, Gabe. Thanks for dropping by!
I'm sure there is a Google-esque algorithm powering Techmeme (along with all the hamsters), but it sure seemed clear to me that the topic appeared on Techmeme as soon a an "A-list" blogger mentioned it ... That must weigh heavily in terms of what makes it onto the page.
