frontline: the way the music died | PBS
things missing from this edition of frontline:
1. a conversation about the impact of the internet on the music industry that lasts longer than 1 minute and says something new.
2. someone at a record label, music distribution company, or retailer who admits that the industry has been (and continues to be) in denial about the very existance of the internet (other than in the courts, where they seem to have acknowledged it).
3. narration by daniel schorr. frontline just isn't the same without his voice.
despite these fine points, it is still worth a look. check it out.
