phil is more fun to watch on sundays than tiger, and that could change if he doesn't choke and manages to win the masters today. with woods in the lead, it is a done deal ... just a question by how many. with phil, you never know when "it" is gonna happen. will he crack on 14? maybe 16? surely, by 18. no matter when, it is always fun to watch. sure, that's a bit heavy on the schadenfreude, but admit it, deep down it makes you feel good knowing that sometimes, even the best of 'em cannot keep their shit together long enough down the stretch. phil seems like he has things a bit more under control this year, but i think we've all said that before. don't do it phil.
We can't afford to have Mickelson win Masters
by Mile Bianchi
The Orlando Sentinel
Please.
You can't win on Sunday.
You just can't.
As Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men: "You want me on that wall; you need me on that wall."
Likewise, Phil, we want you to fall off that wall; we need you to fall off that wall.
If Phil Mickelson wins Sunday, we lose. We all lose. Sports loses one of its all-time most loveable losers.
And that's why America's motto Sunday in the final round of the Masters should be ABP: Anybody But Phil.
